Scottish National Gallery

Masterplanning and Design

Working with the Client and with Gareth Hoskins Architects we have redesigned this gallery, which will cover hundreds of years of Scottish paintings, including Henry Raeburn’s famous painting, The Skating Minister, and paintings by the Glasgow Boys.  The new gallery will be sited under the terraces of the neo-classical Scottish National Gallery and will have spectacular views of the Scott Monument and of the trains leaving Waverley Station. Some of these views are also in the paintings.
